Fentanyl

Fentanyl is the generic name for several prescription drugs on the market today such as Duragestic, Fentora, and Actiq. Fentanyl is a narcotic analgesic that is used for the treatment of chronic breakthrough pain, a pain reliever for surgical operations, and as an anesthetic in combination with a benzodiazepine. This drug is a liquid, but has been used in patches, lollipops, pills, and syrups. It is 100 times more potent than morphine.

Fentanyl short term side effects include, but are not limited to hallucinations, depression, and shortness of breath, hypoventilation and confusion. Long term effects of Fentanyl can include addiction, weight loss, and possible problems with the users overall physical health. Fentanyl is a medical drug and without professional treatment, it can cause a person to overdose without intention, causing themselves lifelong mental and physical problems and even death. To avoid health problems, addiction or overdose, do not use Fentanyl unless you are told to do so by a medical professional.
